Pulling Up...And Falling Down

Today was a nice, relaxing Sunday. We mostly just unpacked from our trip and settled in after a week away from home.

Ollie is pulling up on everything now. He's still VERY wobbly though. He's taken a number of spills and, with these hardwood floors, he's usually on the "losing" end of the deal. Poor fella.

So I took this picture of Ollie standing next to the diaper box and then, just moments later, he crawled over to one of the dining room chairs and was pulling up when he lost his hand-hold, I guess, and came down face-first onto the cross-piece that connects the four legs. Immediately, his eyebrow started bleeding.

So, my child looks like a prize fighter now.

"Yo, Adrian. It's me, Rocky."

Mike sings for Ollie.

We ate lunch alfresco.

And then Merrit put on a puppet show for Baby Roo.

Dinner and a show. Who says you can't participate in culturally enriching events after kids?

The boys playing separately...

...And together.

They really do get along pretty well.

And they're off...on to the next adventure.
