Well, today is November 4 and...no Roo! We spent the day here at home. Ate lunch on the deck. Enjoyed the cool weather and sunshine. Merrit and I did a little gardening. Mike played guitar. We all took an afternoon nap. It was very restful.
Yesterday I was having some contractions and on Thursday my midwife said I'm 1 to 2 cm dilated and 25-50% effaced, so things are definitely moving in the right direction.
One big hurdle we had to leap before Roo's arrival: Choosing a name, which we finally did do about a week ago. Oliver William. So our boy now has a "grown up" name, though he'll always be our little Roo. :-)

Hey guys, great idea to have a blog so we can all keep up on the contractions and stuff. I don’t need to here all the details but I am definitely waiting for the first picture, of baby Roo that is.
