Imagine you're sitting with the family, enjoying a nice relaxing dinner. Baby is in his highchair, contentedly nibbling away on his little fingerfoods when an unexpected sound something like "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEGHKKKKKKK" rattles the window panes. Aww, baby wants more Cheerios?
But seriously, it's Ollie's new trick and it's not cute at all!
He does it when he's happy, in his Johnny Jump-Up or when Mike tickles him, too. But mostly he does it when he's being ignored or he wants more food.
We're trying to get him to sign "MORE." We're also working with making a different noise -- ANY other noise, really! -- to distract him into something less ear-piercing. "Blababablababla Lalalabla" is a favorite that seems to work pretty well.
We're heading off to Black Mountain for a Christmas vacation next week...Hopefully Ollie will be moving on to another, newer trick by then!
