Today, we headed off to the Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham, NC to see the Bulls play against the Charlotte Knights. We went with our friends, the Hutchins family: Faith-Renee and her daughters Brianna and Bethany (and "Baby #3" due in September!). Here we are, waiting for the game to get started.

Thankfully, we had seats in the shade 'cause Mommy forgot the sunscreen! God provides, doesn't He?

Well, the Bulls lost which was kind of a bummer...

...but as far as the kids were concerned, meeting Wool E. Bull was by far the best part of the day! (After meeting Wool E., Merrit said, "Mom, he doesn't smell so good." LOL!)

Merrit learned all about the game. Foul balls. Strikes. Balls. Outs. Stealing bases. Innings. All the basics. He was taking it all in, as you can see from this picture. :-)

For his part, Ollie was bushed and decided to take a nap. We propped his stroller up (don't worry, it was secure!) so he could get some shut-eye.

On the way back to the car, the kids played on this "Bulls Spirit" bike rack.
