HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BABY ROO! YOU ARE TEN MONTHS OLD TODAY, LITTLE ONE!
Where have these ten months gone? I can read back through these entries to re-live all your milestones (sitting up, crawling, sleeping through the night), scares (remember the RSV apnea?), and sweet moments that I might have otherwise forgotten (you sleeping contentedly underneath your first Christmas tree, listening in the dark to you happily kick and bat the air in your bedside basinette, the look on your face the first time you felt the texture of cat fur). As I look back through pictures of you, one common element stands out: That big grin. I have a feeling you are going to go through life laughing and making the people in your life happy.
Sweet boy, you are a treasure. I'm already feeling sentimental about the first year coming to a close. Pretty soon, you'll be toddling around the house, piecing together words and sentences, popping Cheerios and gnawing cheesesticks and slurping spaghetti, tagging along behind your big brother on all his adventures, and testing your limits to see what your Daddy and I will let you get away with!
