Ollie is STILL squealing, screaming, shrieking. We keep trying various methods of distraction, redirection, teaching, and ignoring. Earplugs, anyone? We're definitely having some (albeit limited) success with his signing "MORE" instead of shrieking for another bite of food. We'll keep plugging away with rewarding-for-signing and ignoring / "NO SQUEALING" for shrieking, hoping that this is just a phase, and keeping our fingers crossed that no one (including Roo) will have longterm hearing damage when it's all said and done.
